1. Welcome to Dyar Koul

Welcome to Dyar Koul Himalayan Homestay. By making a reservation or staying at our property, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms ensure a peaceful and secure environment for all our guests.

2. Reservations & Payments

  • All bookings require an advance payment of 50% of the total booking amount to confirm the reservation. The remaining balance must be cleared upon check-in.
  • Payments can be made via Bank Transfer, UPI, or designated payment gateways.
  • The management reserves the right to strictly enforce the payment terms and cancel bookings if the advance payment is not received within the stipulated time.
  • All room rates are subject to change without prior notice, though confirmed bookings will be honored at the agreed rate.

3. Check-In & Check-Out

  • Standard Check-In time: 2:00 PM
  • Standard Check-Out time: 11:00 AM
  • Early check-in and late check-out are strictly subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
  • All guests must present a valid Government-issued Photo ID (Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving License) at the time of check-in. PAN cards are not accepted as valid ID proof for lodging purposes.

4. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made 15 days or more prior to the scheduled arrival date will incur no cancellation fee, and the advance will be refunded (minus standard transaction charges).
  • Cancellations made within 7 to 14 days of the arrival date will incur a 50% retention charge of the advance paid.
  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before arrival, or in case of a no-show, will result in the forfeiture of the entire advance payment.

5. Guest Responsibilities & Rules

  • Guests are liable for any damages caused to the homestay property, furniture, or fittings during their stay. The cost of repair or replacement will be charged to the guest.
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the rooms and wooden structures. Designated smoking areas are available outdoors.
  • Loud music or disruptive behavior that disturbs the peace of the homestay and other guests is strictly not allowed, particularly after 10:00 PM.
  • While we are a pet-friendly property, guests must ensure their pets are well-behaved and do not damage property or disturb others. Extra cleaning fees may apply if necessary.

6. Safety & Security

  • Dyar Koul takes reasonable measures to ensure guest safety; however, guests are entirely responsible for their own personal belongings and valuables. Management is not liable for any loss or theft.
  • In the event of medical emergencies, management will assist in connecting with local medical facilities, but all medical expenses will be borne by the guest.
  • Any adventure activities or excursions undertaken by guests are at their own personal risk.
